Is there a minimum spend for ChatGPT ads in the UK?
OpenAI sets a minimum daily budget of £15 for an ad account billed in pounds, with no minimum commitment. The daily budget is an average across the week, so a busy day can spend up to £30.
What does a thousand ChatGPT ad impressions cost?
OpenAI publishes no UK rate card and no performance benchmarks. In the US, Digiday reported a CPM of about $60 at launch in February 2026 and effective CPMs as low as $25 by mid-April. No UK CPM or cost per click has been published.
Can a fintech, healthtech or legal startup advertise on ChatGPT?
Outside the US, OpenAI's ad policy generally prohibits financial and health services ads and prohibits legal services ads. If you sell in one of those categories, read OpenAI's ad policy and ask James Rooney before you plan around this channel.
