free media planner

Turn one sentence about your customer into a costed media plan

Type who you want to reach, where, and what you'd spend. The planner weights the budget to your goal across seven UK channels, drops any line its share cannot fund, and scores each channel out of 100 for how precisely it reaches your customer. It runs in your browser and needs no account.

A short application: five questions, no card. Approved accounts get the whole loop in their own sandbox, up to a monthly cap. Live spend is open to paid design partners.

how it works

Three things happen when you press Enter

The rules are the product's own: its goal weights, its plan floors and its published fidelity bands. The difference is the catalogue. This page reads your sentence against the vocabulary this site prints, and the product reads it against its full registry.

  1. 01

It reads who, where, the money and the goal

Name a role, an interest or what your customers search for, a place, a monthly budget, a number of weeks and a goal. Anything you leave out of the audience stays empty. With no budget it plans £15,000 over four weeks, and with no goal it plans for consideration.

  2. 02

It weights the budget to your goal

Awareness, Consideration and Performance each start from the product's own weights, and every line has to clear its plan floor. A line whose share falls short is dropped and its money goes to the lines that can carry it.

  3. 03

It scores every line and adds the fee

Each channel gets the fidelity score its targeting language can carry for your sentence, out of 100. The fee is 10% of media, or 5% plus £749 a month above £25,000 of trailing 30-day spend.

questions

What people ask about the planner

Is the AdBuyMCP planner an AI media planner?

The planner on this page runs the product's planning rules in your browser. It reads your sentence against a short catalogue of the targeting vocabulary this site publishes, weights the budget with the product's starting weights for your goal, enforces the plan floors and reads every score from the published bands. Inside the product, the planner can go a step further and ask a language model to propose a split tuned to your audience, from the fidelity scores and the forecasts its seller connectors return, and deterministic code turns those percentages into pounds.

Does the planner forecast reach, impressions or CPM?

No reach, impressions or CPM figures here. Those come from adapter forecasts inside the product, and a number this page invented would be worth nothing to you.

Can I buy media from the planner?

The planner hands you a plan and stops there. To take it further, Start now opens a short application. Five questions, no card. Approved accounts run the whole loop in their own sandbox, up to a monthly cap. Live spend is open to paid design partners.

Why did a channel drop out of my plan?

Every line has to clear its channel's plan floor. When a line's share of the budget falls short, the planner drops the line furthest under its floor, relative to that floor, and splits the money again. £2,000 a month funds two or three channels properly. From about £12,500 a month, an awareness or consideration plan funds all seven, and a performance plan needs more.

next step

Take the plan further than your browser.

Start now opens a short application, and an approved account runs the whole loop in its own sandbox: brief, plan, creative, approval, launch, delivery and measurement. Or bring a real brief to a working session and we'll plan it with you live.
