Questions from the how-to procedures: how much spend a lift test needs, what an agent cannot reach at all, whether a wallet balance is protected, and why several of these procedures describe the product refusing to proceed.

All 10 procedures

Do I need an account to follow these?

No. Every procedure here except funding a live campaign runs in the sandbox, which needs no credentials and no card. The funding one describes the gates a live campaign passes through; live media spend itself runs inside a design-partner engagement, because no rail has reached spend-tested on our evidence ledger.

Why do several of these describe the product refusing to do something?

Because the refusals are the steps most likely to happen and most likely to be misread as errors. An underpowered geo-lift test, a contaminated control, an under-floor plan line, a wallet short of the fee, an ambiguous supplier outcome — each of those stops the sequence deliberately and returns the specific thing that would fix it. A procedure that omitted them would be documenting a path most users never take.

Write a brief an agent can compile

Written on Write a brief an agent can compile, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Read the page these answers live on →

Does a longer brief always score better?

No. Four of the seven channels carry the same score whatever audience detail you add — audio 65, addressable TV 55, DOOH 50 and cinema 40 — because their targeting vocabulary cannot express more than that however good the input. The one line of a brief that does move them is geography: naming a city the UK table cannot map costs fifteen points on every channel, floored at ten. Only CTV, search and social move, and they move on specific inputs rather than on length: marketplace segment matches for CTV, intent topics for search, interest terms for social.

Read a fidelity score

Written on Read a fidelity score, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Read the page these answers live on →

Is a low fidelity score a reason not to buy a channel?

Not on its own. Cinema scores 40 out of 100 and may still be the right buy for a launch, because a full screen with the lights down has an attention profile nothing else in the plan matches. The score tells you how precisely you are targeting, not how well the channel works. What it should change is the claim you make afterwards: a 40 does not support a statement about reaching a named audience.

Run a geo-lift test

Written on Run a geo-lift test, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Read the page these answers live on →

How much spend does a geo-lift test need?

There is no universal figure, and anyone quoting one is guessing. It depends on your baseline variance, your conversion volume, how many independent markets you have and how large an effect you would need to detect. That is precisely what the power analysis computes before the test runs, which is why it runs first. A multi-catchment retailer can often power a test that a single national campaign cannot at any budget.

Has AdBuyMCP produced a causal result for a customer?

No. Nothing has run live, and a geo-lift is graded causal only under conditions sandbox data cannot meet by construction. The engine, the power gate and both refusals are real and tested; the result is not yet evidence about a real campaign, and no lift figure appears anywhere on this site as though it were.

Check a lawful-basis manifest

Written on Check a lawful-basis manifest, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Read the page these answers live on →

Does a lawful-basis manifest make me compliant?

No, and it is worth being blunt about that. It records which data was used, on what basis, and what conditions come with it — which is the raw material for a compliance argument rather than the argument itself. Our own review names turning these conditions into enforced launch gates as unfinished work. Nothing on this site claims UK GDPR compliance on your behalf.

Fund a campaign

Written on Fund a campaign, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Is my wallet balance protected if the company fails?

Not in the way client money in a segregated account would be, and it is worth asking rather than assuming. A wallet balance is a claim on Tenhaw LTD. Reservations against live campaigns are held until spend reconciles to the provider invoice, which limits how far ahead of delivery the balance runs, but it does not make the balance bankruptcy-remote. Fund what you are about to spend rather than a quarter in advance, and raise it in the contract if it matters to your finance team.

Install the MCP server

Written on Install the MCP server, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Can I add AdBuyMCP as a connector on claude.ai?

Only if you host it yourself and expose it over HTTPS with a bearer secret, adding your hostname to the allowlist first. There is no hosted AdBuyMCP connector to add. Public multi-tenant MCP needs an authorisation server issuing per-user, per-organisation, audience-bound tokens, and that is an open gate rather than a configuration option.

1 question

Grant and revoke an agent mandate

Written on Grant and revoke an agent mandate, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Read the page these answers live on →

What can an agent do that a human cannot undo?

Nothing that commits money. Eleven consequential operations — approvals, provider-attempt resolution, mandate replacement and revocation, mission closure, workflow acknowledgement, asset-job resolution, dossier saving and verification, and issuing or revoking a live execution grant — are human-only signed REST actions with no agent tool at all. What an agent can do is prepare, propose, draft and surface, all of it recorded. The design intent is that an agent removes work rather than removing accountability.

1 question

Connect your analytics

Written on Connect your analytics, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Read the page these answers live on →

Does connecting analytics prove the media worked?

No. It produces observed response: something that genuinely happened on a property you own, correlated with the campaign by an immutable key. That is one of four measurement verbs and it is explicitly not a causal claim — the payload says so in its own note. Establishing that the media caused the response requires a powered geo-lift test, which is a separate verb with a separate gate.

1 question

Approve creative for UK clearance

Written on Approve creative for UK clearance, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Read the page these answers live on →

Can the pre-check guarantee clearance?

No, and it does not claim to. It predicts what the clearance bodies and publishers will flag, using deterministic rules against the UK codes. It cannot read a substantiation document and says so explicitly: where you declare that you hold evidence, it records the declaration beside the claim and states that it has not assessed quality. The bodies decide, and they want the documents.

1 question

Set a budget across seven channels

Written on Set a budget across seven channels, and rendered here in the same words rather than summarised.

Read the page these answers live on →

Should I always buy all seven channels?

No, and at most budgets you should not. A broad seven-channel plan is operationally and statistically weak below a substantial budget: spreading money across every channel is the fastest way to make none of them measurable. Two or three channels with enough weight to prove something is the shape that works, and the planner funds what the budget can actually carry rather than putting a token line everywhere.

45 minutes. Bring a real brief and we compile it live. You describe one audience, it compiles into seven channel plans in front of you, and the awkward questions get answered against your own numbers rather than in general.
