# We make your ads for all four channels from your website.

Your monthly price includes the ads. From your website and the buyers you confirmed, we make artwork for billboards and digital screens, a 30-second spot for streaming TV, a recorded ad or a host-read script for podcasts, and a short ChatGPT ad with an image. You approve every ad before it runs.

What each channel takes

## Each channel in your plan takes a different kind of ad

Billboards, streaming TV, podcasts and ChatGPT ads each have their own sizes, lengths and rules, so we turn one idea into four different ads.

The ad each channel takes

01

Out-of-home

### Billboards and screens take artwork made to the size of each site.

[How we buy out-of-home](https://adbuymcp.com/channels/dooh)

What it has to meet

The studio's spec

The studio renders artwork for digital screens as SVG at exactly 1080×1920 portrait, 1920×1080 landscape or 1400×400 banner. The headline is capped at seven words, and a legal line has a field of its own, so it never has to squeeze into the headline. A printed billboard, such as a 48-sheet, takes artwork at the size of that site.

What we make

The copy and the layout for every site and screen in the plan, plus still images and motion loops at the three screen sizes.

02

Streaming TV

### Streaming TV takes a finished video as a high-quality master file.

[How we buy streaming TV](https://adbuymcp.com/channels/ctv-streaming)

What it has to meet

The studio's spec

A 16:9 ProRes 422 HQ master at 1920×1080, 25 frames a second for the UK and at least 20Mbps, which the streaming platforms convert for each screen. On-screen text sits inside the 90% title-safe area, and the sound is levelled to EBU R128.

What we make

The 30-second spot, from the storyboard and short AI video clips to the ad-serving (VAST) details each platform needs.

03

Podcasts

### Podcasts take a recorded spot or a script for the host to read.

[How we buy podcasts](https://adbuymcp.com/channels/podcast-audio)

What it has to meet

The studio's spec

Scripts run to 15 or 30 seconds and carry voiceover direction and sound-effect notes with the words, because the read is most of the ad.

What we make

For a recorded spot, the script with its read direction, a voiceover in a UK male, female or neutral voice, and a music bed. For a host-read, the script the host reads.

Host-reads

The show's host reads our script on the show. Each podcaster approves the advertiser first, and booking takes four to six weeks.

04

ChatGPT ads

### ChatGPT ads take a short title, a line of copy and an image.

[How we buy ChatGPT ads](https://adbuymcp.com/channels/chatgpt-ads)

What it has to meet

OpenAI's limits

OpenAI's format carries your company's name and icon, a title of up to 50 characters, body copy of up to 100 characters and an image at least 640×640 pixels. OpenAI shows the ad below ChatGPT's answer, labelled and kept separate from it. Outside the US, its ad policies generally prohibit financial and health services ads and prohibit legal services ads.

What we make

The title, the body and the image, made to fit those limits.

Your OpenAI account

The ad runs in your own OpenAI ad account. OpenAI asks each advertiser to open and verify its own account and invite whoever runs it, and the channel is set up there with you.

How the ads get made

## We make every ad, and you approve each one before it runs

01

### We start from your website and the buyers you confirmed.

Your website tells us what you sell, the words you use for it and how your brand looks. The buyers you confirmed when you sized your market tell us who each ad is for.

02

### We make each ad to its channel's limits.

The studio's word caps and sizes are enforced in code, so no ad leaves it over one of them. A legal line is never cut: if one is too long for the channel, we ask you to shorten it before anything is made. ChatGPT ads are written to OpenAI's limits.

03

### The pre-check reads every ad for likely clearance problems.

It reads each ad against the UK advertising rules listed below, and each finding names the rule it came from.

[See what your monthly price includes](https://adbuymcp.com/pricing#included)

Clearance pre-check

## The pre-check flags likely clearance problems before an ad is made

The pre-check reads every ad against the UK advertising codes and the rules media owners apply, and hands back each finding with the rule it came from. A model reads the copy where one is available, the same rules run as plain code where it isn't, and the result records which one did the reading. It predicts what Clearcast and the companies that run your ads are likely to flag, early enough to change the line.

CAP 3.7 / BCAP 3.9

Objective and superlative claims, such as best, number one or market-leading, need documentary evidence. The pre-check finds each one and names it.

CAP 3.17

A price, a percentage off or a free offer needs its significant conditions in view. The pre-check flags one with none showing, and it recognises the usual UK ways of writing the qualifier.

BCAP 14

Financial promotions carry their own rules. Guaranteed returns, risk-free and 100% safe are blockers outright, and investment, credit, loan or APR language draws a warning for the risk statement, the representative APR and the FCA authorisation details.

### Three more rules sit in the same catalogue.

- **BCAP 11**: Medicines, medical devices, treatments and health claims need evidence. Clearcast can block them outright, and an unsupported health efficacy claim is routinely rejected.
- **CAP 18 and venue rules**: Alcohol on digital out-of-home has a media rule as well as a copy one: media owners exclude screens within 200m of a school.
- **HFSS restrictions**: Less-healthy food and drink can't be aimed at under-16s, and the Transport for London estate bans HFSS ads outright, which rules out those sites as well as the copy.

Blocker fail

A medical or health claim, or guaranteed-returns language.

Warning flag

A superlative with nothing on file, a price with no conditions, or alcohol on a digital screen.

Info pass

A superlative that relies on evidence you've declared, kept on the record beside the claim.

One verdict rule applies whether a model or a rule check found the problem: any blocker fails the ad, any warning flags it, and otherwise it passes. Code works out the verdict from the findings, so a blocking finding always means a fail.

Who decides

The pre-check reads the copy, and Clearcast and the companies that run your ads make the decision. Where you declare that you hold evidence for a claim, it records your declaration beside the claim and marks the evidence itself as unassessed: for TV copy, assessing it is Clearcast's job, and Clearcast will want the documents. You end up with one record of each claim and what you say stands behind it, ready to send with those documents.

## Questions founders ask about the ads

These cover what your monthly price includes, what we need from you, clearance, rights and setting up a ChatGPT ad.

### Are the ads included in my monthly price?

Yes. Your monthly price covers the ads we make for each channel from your website, along with the media, the planning, buying and balancing across the four channels, and your weekly report. Prices are shown before VAT.

### What do you need from me to make the ads?

We start from your website and the buyers you confirmed when you sized your market. If an ad would make a claim that needs evidence, such as calling your company market-leading, the pre-check flags it and we ask you for the evidence before the ad is made.

### Will my ads get through clearance?

We write each ad to its channel's limits, and the pre-check flags the claims most likely to be challenged before the ad is made. Clearcast and the companies that run your ads make the final decision. Where you say you hold evidence for a claim, the pre-check records that and marks the evidence as unassessed.

### Who owns the AI-made parts of my ads, and are they indemnified?

Parts of your ads, such as video clips, images, voiceovers and music, are made with AI models. Their providers' terms allow commercial use but stop short of granting ownership of the output, note that it may not be unique across customers, and offer no intellectual-property indemnity: under those terms the customer indemnifies the provider. The default image model, FLUX.1 \[schnell\], is openly licensed under Apache-2.0; the closed-weight video and audio models rest on the host's documentation rather than a contractual warranty. If exclusive rights matter to your brand, raise it with the founder before your plan starts.

### Who sets up my ChatGPT ad?

The ad runs in your own OpenAI ad account. OpenAI asks each advertiser to open and verify its own account and invite whoever runs it, and the channel is set up there with you. We write the title and the body and make the image, and you approve the ad before it runs.
